March 15th 2012 ~ Today is the day!!!!!!!......
We welcome the baby girl we have been waiting to meet for the last 39 + weeks! I am overwhelmed with emotions and all good ones! I am so anxious to meet her and see her. I slept pretty good last night and am now ready to go! We are just about to head out to the hospital now and get all checked in. C-section is scheduled for 8:15 a.m. and around 8:30 we will have met our Blakeley Elizabeth Devine!
I am bringing the lap top with me so I will hopefully provide pics and updates soon.

3, 2 more days....
WOW we are getting so close!! And sooooo excited! :) We had the shower doors installed in our new bathroom yesterday and it is now a fully functioning bathroom! It is beautiful! Now I just need to do the finishing touches by decorating it... But we have been spending so much money on baby and getting ready for baby and doing all sorts of projects around the house, I will just keep it simple for now and do a little more a bit later.
Same with the rest of the house, we have done so much and decorating is where I just want to spend all my time, its like we have a blank canvas right now. We have things on the walls but they are the same pics we have have had since we moved in. I spend all day dreaming about decorating and lots of time is spent on Pinterest gathering ideas, but it all costs $$ and in reality our house is livable and the big projects are done, I will have plenty of time to do more around the house to decorate it as I want down the road.
We have some ripped carpet in the hallway of our bedroom that is being fixed tomorrow and I plan to just spend the day finishing up any last minute things that need to be done before baby gets here!
I do still need to get some containers for her stuff in the closet but will need to go to the container store for that - so I think I will do that tomorrow. We also need to pack up for the hospital.
Tonight we drop the Tahoe off for its tune up and I need to get the car in as well which I'm hoping to do tomorrow. Other than that anything else that needs to be done can be done later, we will have help around the house as my mom will be here and so will Reilly's parents.
I'm going to get a mani/pedi tonight, I'm sure it will be my last for a while :) so I'm looking forward to that!

4 more days...
Day light savings today... we slept in late today; which was nice. We then lounged a bit in then morning and decided then to do some painting! We needed to patch some holes in the guest bathroom and paint, so Reilly did that. Then moved onto patching other holes around the house and doing some touch up paint. This then led to a Pinterest project I wanted to do; paint the inside of the pantry doors with chalkboard paint, so we did that. Its a great idea for writing down recipes or grocery list, etc... It turned out great! Just need some chalk now.
I assembled the baby swing today; Ive heard these things are great for newborns, so this is all set to go. Now I just need to set up the bassinet in our bedroom for when we get home with baby next weekend. Then finish up the nursery... need to get everything up on the walls and we should be all set!
We had our neighbors over for dinner tonight; they have 2 little ones, about 3 and 1.5 years old. Reilly cooked a delicious meal of Steelhead and Halibut and we had broccolini and couscous. I got my girl scout cookies today that I have been craving! So for dessert I had some thin mints ;)

6, 5 days left....
I had full intentions of writing an update last night but got all tucked into bed before I remembered and decided Id just do it this morning ;)
Yesterday my glider arrived!! I LOVE it!! Now I need to figure out where I want it set, I think I have it in the location it will be in, but of course I would like to see what it looks like in another area in the room. This normally wouldn't be a big deal, as I would normally just have Reilly move it for me, but he threw his back out doing cross fit :( Had to go into the Dr yesterday to get some meds and confirm that is all he did. He was in so much pain on Thursday night/Friday morning. But seems to be doing a little better now, but just needs to take it easy.
He was going to go fishing today, but decided that probably wouldn't be the best idea, so we will just run some errands today - we need to go to Costco. We have our cleaning lady coming today to do a deep clean before baby arrives. This will be nice to have the house spotless and not have to worry about it once we get home from the hospital next weekend.
We are going to dinner at the Yacht Club tonight with Reilly's great Aunt Patty, which will be fun.
Last night we went over to our friends, Dan & Susy, they just had their 3rd baby girl on leap year day, Feb 29th. Her name is Lila Virginia, she is adorable! Reilly jumped right in and held her, and of course I got my share of snuggle time, she seems like a real good baby, very quiet, not a lot of fussing at all. Spending some time with a new born like that, got us even more excited to meet our little one, especially Reilly!!
We cant wait, just so curious, to see what she looks like!!! Will she have lots of hair? Will it be dark or light? Will she have light or dark eyes? Im just so excited to meet her and see her!!!
They say that if you have heartburn, it means your baby will have lots of hair... who knows, but I have definitely had bad heartburn for the last month or so. Well we only 5 more days before we get to meet her!

7 more days... 1 week left!
This time next week, we will be parents!!! Ahhh!!! Im soo excited and so ready to meet her! We had our last dr. appt this morning, confirmed she is still breech. So all is set for Thursday March 15th at 8:15 a.m.!
Last night was fun, so good to see the Colagrossi's. They have the cutest kids!! Reilly cooked dinner which was awesome! We had Mexican deliciousness! Im so glad he offered to cook (even though he usually does) I was seriously uncomfortable yesterday, just sore all over and didnt feel like cooking. Doing much better today, and plan on taking it easy for the rest of the day. We have been watching The Pacific, a series on HBO, that is really pretty good, so we will watch that tonight and just chill.
Tomorrow our glider/rocker is being delivered and I am so excited! It took forever to arrive, but it is the last piece for the nursery and once I figure out where we will position it, I can then hang everything on the wall and the nursery will officially be complete! :)

8 more days...
7:35 a.m. Project for today is assembling a new TV/media stand we got from Ikea. I dread doing this, assembling furniture is so frustrating! We had the TV installed on the wall yesterday and now we need to get the new stand up. It will look nice once complete, so here I sit facing a bunch of pieces of particle board and screws waiting for me to piece the puzzle together. Wish me luck.
We are having our good friends, Tony and Tara and their 2 kids over for dinner tonight! Hmm... what to cook?? Im looking forward to having them over and catching up!
9:15 update: I am on step 8 of 30... ugh. and out of breath! taking a break at the moment, hoping the hubbs will come out and help on his lunch break, but until then ill do what I can.
ill update in a couple hours on the progress ;)
1:45 update: I finished the media console at 12:00, just in time for hubbs to come out and help me ;) I did have to have him come out earlier and flip it on its side for me since it was too heavy. Well after I was finished, needless to say I was exhausted, it is very tiring putting together a piece of furniture 9 months preggers. I went to lay down on the bed and ended up taking a nice nap!! Now my whole body feels sore!! :(
Ok - off to straightening up the house and getting ready for our guests for dinner tonight.
